McHenry 40
Johnsburg 31

The sophs got down by 10 at half, 24 -14 and cut the lead to 5 with under 2 minutes to play. That was as close as they could get. 21 turnovers and only 3 offensive rebounds were 2 big reasons that McHenry won the game. The biggest reason Johnsburg lost was that McHenry scored more points. The good news was that leading scorer Sarah Kelly's ankle is sprained and not broken.

Heather Miller had 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and 16 free throws taken.
Courtney Bielis scored 7 points and was 5 for 6 from the line in the 4th quarter.
